They have invested in an innovative system that supports print station and process interchangeability. With the advent of digital plates UV flexo can replicate delicate vignettes and tone work down to the finest dot. Wide Web Flexo-Screen Olympus has invested in the latest wide web (420mm) 9 colour print capability, servo driven, flexible platform technology with low waste and set-up times reduced to seconds per unit. It utilises a sleeve system for the plate and blanket cylinders - lightweight polycarbonfibre construction allows fast changes of repeat lengths in a range from 18 to 25 inches with reduced tooling costs. Rotary Screen Where high impact graphics and a direct decorated appearance is required rotary screen can be printed in combination with UV flexo on the company's presses. The process is particularly suited to "no-label" look applications on plastic materials.   The combination of screen text and solids with the subtle half tone work of the UV flexo process is a potent blend favoured by many customers.
